         A műszerek a jelenlegi kiépítés mellett alkalmasak a szerves kémiai szintézisekből származó minták hagyományos kémiai szerkezetvizsgálati problémáinak magas szintű megoldására. Az NMR-módszernek azonban természetes adottságai miatt van egy gyenge pontja: nagyon magas a kimutatási határa; más szóval az NMR-spektrumok jel/zaj-viszonya más spektroszkópiai módszerekhez képest alacsony.
