        A Centre of Agriculture and Biosciences International (CABI) adatbázisa mezőgazdasági, környezettudományi, állatorvos-tudományi, növénytani, mikológiai, parazitológiai, élelmiszer-tudományi, egészség- és táplálkozástudományi témájú, több mint tízezer, szakértők által válogatott tudományos folyóirat, könyv, konferencia kiadvány, és jelentés indexelését végzi. Jelenleg több mint száz ország ötven nyelven írt anyagáról kilencmillió rekord érhető el benne 1973-ig visszamenőleg. A szabadalmakat, a nem világnyelven megjelenő nemzeti folyóiratokat, a jelentéseket és az ún. szürke irodalmat is feldolgozza, ha van angol nyelvű összefoglalójuk. A rekordok osztályozása a CAB tezaurusszal történik. Az adatbázis az absztraktokon felül elérést biztosít 232 ezer teljes szövegű folyóiratcikkhez, jelentéshez, és konferencia anyaghoz.

        3 közbeszerzési rész (FSTA – Food Science and Technology Abstracts):

        Az adatbázis előállítója az International Food Information Service (IFIS), egy nemzetközi, non-profit intézmény. Mára az adatbázis több mint 1.1 millió, absztraktokkal ellátott rekordot tartalmaz 1969-ig visszamenőleg, és hetente nagyjából 1350 új rekorddal bővül. Jelenleg 950 folyóiratot referál, a kezdetektől napjainkig ez a szám több mint 4500.

        — Az FSTA 40 nyelven körülbelül 1800 kiadványt figyel, folyóiratokat, szabványokat, jogszabályokat, szabadalmakat, könyveket, szakdolgozatokat és konferencia kiadványokat. A mezőgazdasági, állattenyésztési, és állatorvosi témákat csak akkor veszi figyelembe, ha összefüggenek az élelmiszerek minőségével.

        — Rekordjainak száma 550 ezer, évente több, mint 20 ezerrel növekszik. Az adatbázis az élelmiszerekre vonatkozó nemzetközi szakirodalmat dolgozza fel. Ismerteti az élelmiszerekkel kapcsolatos tudományos irodalmat, az élelmiszeripari termékeket és folyamatokat, feltárja a témához tartozó alaptudományokat, valamint a gazdasági és jogi vonatkozásokat is.

        — A keresést tezaurusz segíti. A rekordoknak több, mint 10 %-a szabadalomról tudósít. A szabványok közül azonban csak mintegy 40 országból, valamint az Európai Közösségből származókat figyeli. A rekordok 99 %-a tartalmaz angol nyelvű összefoglalót.

        Az American Mathematical Society (AMS) adatbázisa szakértők által készített összefoglalókat, kivonatokat, és bibliográfiai információt biztosít a legfrissebb matematikai szakirodalomról, folytatva az 1940-ben indult Mathematical Reviews című folyóirat hagyományait. Az adatbázis évente több mind negyvenezer új rekorddal bővül. A MathSciNet évente nagyjából negyvenezer új tétellel bővül, jelenleg több mint hárommillió bibliográfiai rekordot és 1,9 millió közvetlen hivatkozást tartalmaz 1,800 folyóirat XIX. század elejétől megjelent cikkeihez.

        A Johns Hopkins University Press által létrehozott adatbázis vezető a humán- és társadalomtudományok területén. A MUSE a hiánytalan, teljes szövegű folyóiratok megbízható forrása, melyek a világ sok vezető egyetemi könyvkiadója és tudományos társasága gondozásában jelennek meg, jelenleg több mint 120 kiadó részvételével.

        Az adatbázis jelenlegi tartalma: ~250 000 cikk és ~300 000 dokumentum, 193 kiadótól.

        1995 óta a MUSE folyóirat-gyűjteményei széles skálán felelnek meg a kutatói igényeknek világszerte, a tudományos, köz-, szak- és iskolai könyvtárakban.

        Nemzetközi tudományos hetilap, az American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) kiadványa.

        A Science Magazine a kutatás egyik nagyon fontos forrása. 1999 és 2044 között a magazin a legmagasabb impact faktorral rendelkezett az alábbi hat tudományterületen: molekuláris biológia és genetika, fizika, biológia és biokémia, növény- és állattan, űrtudomány, immunológia. Ellenőrzött hivatkozásokat tartalmaz olyan kapcsolódó forrásokhoz, mint a PubMed, ISI, és közel 950 folyóirathoz a Highwire platformon.

        A Science Magazine primer használói a kutatók, oktatók, de alapvető forrás a jogszabályalkotók, és a tudományos ismeretterjesztés iránt érdeklődők számára is.

        1995-ben indult a Science Online, melynek egyik legfontosabb része a Science Magazine, amely teljes szövegű folyóiratokat tartalmazó adatbázis, amely kutatási eredményeket, legfrissebb felfedezéseket, kutatási jelentéseket, kritikai cikkeket tartalmaz, esetenként multimédiás kiegészítésekkel.
